  1. He sold me a large lot of 2600 and 5200 games, and even replaced 1 that didn't work with the same game and an extra game. Great communication. Would buy from him again!
  2. Count me in for a copy with the box and manual at $50.
  3. Bought an Atari 520 STFM, SC1224 Monitor, Megafile 30, GTS-100 Disk Drive, Atari Mouse, Atari 520 Programming Books and various Atari 520 software from Tempest. Everything was in very good condition, and he met me locally for pickup. A very nice transaction.
  4. Do you have a price in mind? Where are you shipping from?
  5. Well it's not just the % markup on resale, but also the total number of sales on the used product that dictate the trade-in price. For instance, if Gamecubes are not selling, which is very likely, there is no reason for them to give a lot more in trade. The backwards capability of the Wii coupled with its popularity, means there is really no reason to buy a used Gamecube right now. It's the same analogy you would apply to old EA sports titles, i.e. no one buys last year's Madden. It kinda explains the reason why the system is only selling for $29.99 - no one is buying them and they are trying to get rid of them.
  6. Prince of Persia is getting great reviews. I plan on picking it up today after work. On the other hand, Fracture recently dropped to $40.
  7. Does the cart come in a game case, or does it simply lay inside the box? Thanks!
  8. Actually you missed a few WWI games: Codename Eagle - an alternate history FPS game set in Russia in 1917; here's IGN's review WWI: The Great War - a RTS set during WWI; here's IGN's review The Entente - another RTS. Diplomacy - a turn based strategy game originating from Avalon Hill's board game. It starts out prior to WWI. There have been several iterations on the PC. Check the wiki link and the Micropose review HERE and the Paradox review HERE Iron Storm - another WWI alternate history FPS. WWI has been going on for 50 years, and the game is set in 1964. Here's a nice List of WWI Games spanning multiple platforms and eras, from Blue Max on the C-64 and forward. Many of them of course are Flight Combat games. The original Red Baron is my favorite.
  9. Well for one it will be nice for them to go back to developing games for the PC and Mac, like how they originally started. I for one would love to see them resurrect the "Myth" franchise, whether it be on the PC, Mac or even the 360. Additionally, since they no longer own the Halo rights, they could go back to the "Marathon" franchise. I used to love Bungie back in the day before Halo.
  10. Just a quick update here (no pun intended, ): NOA is shipping me a new Wii via UPS overnight 2-3 days, so hopefully I'll have it by the weekend. The representative said my situation was probably due to an internal problem and not the update. I asked her what is the best way to connect, wireless router, and if so what brand, or via the USB Wi-Fi connector, so I could avoid any future problems. She said it shouldn't really matter as the Wii is pretty flexible. I told her I wanted to know because I would be a little hesitant running future updates, to which she responded its not the updates, and it was an internal problem which was exacerbated by the update. So I guess for those who are hesitant to run the updates, I'd suggest you do them now while you are still in your 12 month warranty, because if there is something wrong internally with your Wii, better to find out now than later when you are outside the warranty.
