  1. This arrived on Monday (2/5/2024): Here are the treasures found inside: Thanks again KeeperofLindblum for your generosity.
  2. Just sent my address. Thanks for being so generous.
  3. Thanks Tavi. I had seen that page before. Most of the Youtube videos I watched on this topic used a portable HD and not a thumb drive. Wanted to see if anyone had actually used a thumb drive before going that route. Guess there's no harm in giving it a try.
  4. Hi, I have a PS3 super slim and what to back it up. It has a 250gb hard drive and is less than 50% full. I don't have any downloaded games just some expansion packs for Lego Dimension and the remaining episodes for Batman The Telltale Series. My question is, can I use a 250gb thumb drive to do the system back up or do I need an external hard drive? I can't find any external hard drive less than 1 TB locally while 250gb thumb drives are easy to find. Thanks in advance for any information.
  5. Install BigPEmu on a laptop with a dvd drive and you can play the actual Jaguar CD games via the emulator.
  6. I know the Vita is region free but how playable is the Japanese version of Muramasa if one does not know any Japanese? The reason I ask is the Japanese version tends to sell for less than half of the cost of the US version. Thanks.
  7. Picked up two Lynx games: Biniax 2 Championship Rally
  8. Magazines (and discs) arrived today. Thanks for sending them so quickly. Look forward to reading them.
  9. If your PSP drive squeaks loudly when accessing the UMD, try this solution: My PSP 3000 was sounding just like the system shown in the video. After doing what was suggested, it is now sounding like normal.
  10. I think my PS2 slim needs the laser replaced. It loads the PS2 CD games (blue discs) just fine. When using the DVD games, the drive is very noisy and the game doesn't load. It just goes to the browser menu. No disc error or can't read disc message comes up. If you turn the system upside down, the DVD games will load and then you can turn it back to right side up. Replacing the laser seems easy enough on the slim. Hardest part is desoldering the anti-static blob. I have model SCPH-79001. The laser itself is fairly cheap - less than $30 shipped from Amazon. Can anyone confirm replacing the laser is the correct thing to do? Thanks.
  11. Has anyone used 1up Restorations? I'm thinking of having them do some work on my Sega Nomad and just wanted to hear some opinions on them. https://1uprestorations.com/ Thanks
  12. Hi Crossbow, Thanks for the reply. Is this something you could fix for me? I don't feel comfortable taking apart the Lynx especially with that ribbon cable. Please PM with your fee if this is something you can do. Thanks.
  13. I recently had my Model 2 Lynx repaired - capacitors replaced along with the Mosfet and Zener Diodes. Now my D-Pad is having issues. I don't get a response to Up and Left pushes. Down and Right seem to work fine. I would prefer not sending the Lynx back to the guy who repaired it and wait 3 weeks for it to return. Is this issue an easy fix that I can do myself?
