Jeff, if you want to shut up your critics, instead of posting here put out a great game and put them in their place.

#4247994 NEW Sega MD/Genesis Mini advert

Hmm...

"While the Japanese version will include six-button controllers, the U.S. version will ship with two three-button Genesis controllers that connect to the Mini via USB. Original Genesis controllers won’t connect."

Indeed.  So far I've thought that Jeff's releases all had potential (I think FF64 is actually fun for what it is) but he puts these games out way, way, WAY too soon.

Stop releasing games that are half-baked.

I generally agree with the VGC, but not always.  I will say he tends to be a bit more generous with homebrews than the original commercial releases.

#4234895 Atari Jaguar Review - Another World - The Jag's Holy Grail?!

It seems like a pretty decent game, but calling it The Holy Grail seems a bit much.

How much is a new software release today?  I don't think paying $50-$90 for a high-end release is all that unusual.

Remember, back in the day a lot of these games were as impressive to us kids as anything that get released today is to the younger generations.

#4227671 Original VCS (or Odyssey) players? (research project)

Posted by ls650 on Mon Feb 25, 2019 8:40 PM

I was there back in the day, as a 10-year old playing Combat on the VCS when it first came out in 1977.  Good times...

But what will the box art look like?

#4226089 Brand New Atari Jaguar Pro Controllers- For Sale!

Yes, I did that a while back and it solved the D-pad mushiness.  Your photo will be very helpful to others!

I agree: great games on a weak system are a lot better than weak games on a great system.  It's all about the gameplay, or none of us would be playing games from the 1970s.

#4225399 Atari friendly Vizio 22" TV/Monitor!

I find that some of the latest TVs are really just fancy monitors with only HDMI input.  Annoying.

#4225392 Uwol: Quest for money now available to pre-order

Looks like a pretty fun game:

#4224556 Jaguar New-Old-Stock Just About Gone

Posted by ls650 on Thu Feb 21, 2019 3:39 PM

I've seen claims by Telegames that an item is 'out of stock', only to reappear a few months later.  It is clear that they produce these carts in small batches as needed.
