Atari Jaguar cart holder from etsy

Sat Feb 9, 2019 1:46 PM

A week or so ago I noticed an etsy seller selling 3D-printed cartridge holders for a variety of systems, including the Jag.  At any given moment, I might have a half-dozen carts sitting loose next to the Jaguar on my coffee table, so I thought this might be a great idea.

I ordered one and when I get it, I'll post a little review...

Bitt Boy handheld for NES, Gameboy, GBC

Fri Jan 18, 2019 11:47 AM

I bought one of these from www.retromimi.com :
https://obscurehandh...he-new-bittboy/

It cost $40 US plus shipping, and took 12 days to arrive. I've spent an hour so far playing a few different games. I find the emulation is decent, controls are okay but a bit cramped during to the small size of the unit, sound is tinny but okay.

The emulation quality seems to be not bad. Overall if you're looking for a small handheld that plays NES and GBC/Gameboy, you might want to check this out.

Dust Covers from PrinterBoy on Etsy

Sun Dec 2, 2018 12:00 PM

I noticed that a seller named 'PrinterBoy' on etsy.com has been selling what look like attractive dust covers for the Jaguar and other consoles.

They look nice in the photo, and the price seems very reasonable.

Has anyone here bought one?  If so, what do you think of the cover?

New Vectrex emulator 'Vectrexy'

Mon May 14, 2018 8:07 AM

I saw a posting in the Facebook group Vectrex Fans Unite.
A fellow named Antonio Maiorano has released a Vectrex emulator written in C++.
There is a downloadable build for Windows 64-bit.

I haven't had the opportunity to play with it yet, so YMMV.
