  1. Yes I think so. I’ll handle this unless @santosp wants to? I will make a new board design though so it’ll be more like summer. I’ll start a poll thread to capture interest and help decide on a few options.
  2. Happy to help. Should we make a new thread for this though? I checked a real pokey too. The mister one was forked off slightly older code and ported by Alexey. There are clearly some drive emulator changes to plug it into the mister framework (maybe compare vs http://www.64kib.com/atarixlfpga_svn/trunk/atari_800xl/firmware_eclairexl/atari_drive_emulator.c) I've not reviewed exactly what he did.
  3. Well I said I’m going to open the design again once the stocks are run down. I’m designing a 2 layer version of v3 relocating the header inside. Once I have that anyone can order pcbs and make one. It will also fix the keyboard timing issues. Thing is it’s quite hard to solder, since small smd parts are needed.
  4. @ijorDoes it fit into a 10M02 digimax? I have a couple more around and could program/send one to @scorpio_ny.
  5. For light ivory I’ve been using this: https://www.digitec.ch/en/s1/product/copymaster3d-premium-pla-175-mm-1000-g-white-3d-printer-filament-22660976 For black brown ral 8023 I’ve not found anything affordable yet. There is this but I can’t bring myself to pay for it! https://colorfabb.com/black-brown-ral-8022 It goes 25% off from time to time.
  6. Because @Guitarman has a squeeze on the market?
  7. How about an sio protocol analyzer? https://support.saleae.com/protocol-analyzers I guess more useful if you have the hardware though there are cheap clones.
  8. Given it’s been tested in several computers it seems most likely a pokeymax hardware problem. I expect around the io expander too. Did you purchase it new from a vendor or second hand? Is the goal to repair it yourself? That will require small smd device soldering skills. Of course we can advise how to fix it if you want to try. Perhaps it’s time to contact the seller?
  9. I've not tried this myself but I always thought the scope pictures in this looked very helpful to see what is normal or not, if you don't have access to a second system: http://ftp.pigwa.net/stuff/collections/Atari documents/Service Manuals/Sam's Computerfacts Technical Service Data - Atari 800XL.pdf
  10. Found the thread where I applied the firmware upgrade, where I was made aware of RD5 etc. Guess at the time I was no longer thinking of what this meant for the EclaireXL. Also this explains why it works on the 600XL automatically.
  11. So where does it get RD4 and RD5 from on the XL?
  12. I'm looking at making a new EclaireXL firmware and when testing I noticed that the IDE Plus 2.0 E no longer works on it to work on it, or on my old EclaireXL firmware where it used to work! I think I might have updated its firmware in the meantime... Anyway this pin 39 RD5 thing explains it. In the EclaireXL we'd decided to use some of the spare PBI pins too and CCTL is on pin 39 - I'd completely forgotten! So to make IDE Plus 2.0 work I had to cut that trace and run a wire from RD5 on the cartridge port to pin 39 on PBI. @Larry, thought this finding might interest you since it probably explains why it used to work for me but not for you!
  13. Apparently that is the JTAG. Found this very important post which explains that I need RD5 on the PBI connection, but not just RD5, RD5 via a diode!: Edit: Actually he says later in the thread this was fixed in the CPLD, so only RD5 to PBI pin 39 is needed. No diode.
  14. Ahh... Is is that little header next to the compact flash? Funny this works on my 600XL, I guess it just drives out stronger than the basic rom does!
  15. Thanks. I guess it must pull refresh low then like turbo freezer and syscheck, to disable the mmu.
