Yesterday I got 50 atari 2600 titles for $25 most seem to be common to scarce in rarity but still only 50 cent's a pop.

that would be interesting but wonder what games it would get.

Something that atari carts had that others like NES,Snes ect did not is the door protecting connector. how nice ould been on NES and other carts. time and again atari show's smart design that lack's to this day by other company's.

anyone know the history how the black 2600 got vader name. i mean i understand why but is there a who or something. i got vader 2600 just interested. i know this site gives input somewhat.

Depends on the price mainly. for example i got new sealed digdug for 5$. i'm not collector so won't see me pay over 20$ for sealed game.

I don't get them right away. i wait and see if a system will sell well and as well get the early bugs out now more so with newer gen systems. playstaion and xbox 360 are system's that had way to many bugs at launch.

Even though today's controllers have 10+ button's i've never had problem's learning them fast. i love my atari but i love to mix star wars kotor in with a little space invaders. kid's make fun of 80's games like kid's make fun of disco it's a new generation where enjoy eyecandy over gameplay i like both but would pick gameplay anyday. i've played games for 18 years and atari was my first console.

42 way more than that theres at least 1000 here alone i am a collector as well and i know there are more than 41 collectors. the total is immpossible to get but it's alot more than we could imagine. maybe 42 collectors who have over 500 games maybe.

I got a genesis year and a half ago for 25$ and recently a sega 32x for 15$ with box and everything. all i have to say is genesis is a great system's with great games if people don't want a genesis while it's cheap then that's there loss i feel sorry for them. i remember nes being cheap at one point now i see it go for $50-$60.

I don't have more than one of one console but many from one company. for atari all i have is a 2600. for nintendo i have nes,snes and n64. for sega i have genesis model one, sega 32x and a broken dreamcast. sold my playstation one last week plan on getting a saturn better system in my opinion.

Some people wouldn't even pay the dollar. only people who are collecters or like the game. i found it frustrating falling in pits you can't see. i never played gas hog but sure it's better than e.t. is it pal or is it in america to

it was a classic all right a CLASSIC FRUSTRATION. but for the small amount of time they gave warshaw it wasn't to bad. darn wish they gave more time that's why the 83 crash happened alot of games where bad because the where rushed. i remember nes games canceled if the set date was not met and where tested before going on sale to be sure it was good enough to sell. atari needed a american version of darn can't spell his name the super mario brothers and zelda creator.

i'm from the united states and i am not familar with uk currency what would the price be in american dollars then i could tell you my view of the price. my local shop has e.t. for $1.00

on the vader edition the darkside of atari. maybe they should have made a black and green one and we could have called it the luke edition the lightside of atari. star wars was so big people call the all black atari as vader to bad it doesn't make the breathing noises when you turn it on.
