Does anyone know if there was a reason the Atari series did not receive a port? Was it technically not possible or had Broderbund moved on from the Atari 8-bits?
Thanks, Snicklin. You have seen Paul Rixon’s Page 6 website, haven’t you? What amazed me was how prolific Halsall was and the variety of the titles he created, all of which could be typed into your Atari every couple of months.
Does anyone know what happened to the coder Bill Halsall? He wrote a large number of type-in listing games for Page 6/New Atari User magazine, all in machine code. I’ve searched online but could not find any interviews or other information. Here’s what atarimania lists him as the author of.
I'm so glad to see that these exist! Years ago I posted on these forums about an article from, I think, Edge magazine, where it mentioned Archer McClean's Defender prototypes. It's nice that the world can finally see both of these projects!
Regarding the shadowing, I meant the objects casting a shadow onto the board. I will say that the darker shadows do look even better, however. The money too makes it particularly impressive. This is such good work!
