  1. Ah, indeed. I hooked it up on the VBXE back then, but not on the Sophia. Did that now, and of course it works. Thanks mate!
  2. Hi, I got an Sophia rev. B RGB working nice on my 1084s. After one of my 1084s died, I tried to hook up a Scart RGB to HDMI converter and get picture on an LCD. It does work on the 1200XL with VBXE, but not on the 600XL with Sophia. I have a cable with Scart and Sub-D for 1084s in parallel, so I can hook up two devices at once. So it's same cable, same screens, same Settings on RGB converter box, same page on U1MB menu: I tried both, progressive and interlaced jumper on Sophia. Any idea? Thanks in advance Beetle
  3. Hi there, just tried to download the asma.zip, but got 404'ed instead. Is it by fault or intend? Greetz, btl
  4. Update: Replacement Video DAC Chip arrived. 10 Minutes later tha machine has nice and clear RGB picture. So my cable was indeed correcly wired. Nice. Thanks for the hint, boss!
  5. Hi, thanks for the replies. i can't find a place that offers the Antonia, that would be a nice option, yeah. FJC wrote that it might work if the U1MB PBI Bios is disabled, which is possible with his firmware. Fixing the BB so it doesn't hug the Bus on all IDs would be the ideal solution. My BB is probably the full version with all the bells and whistles. I will try to find info on how to do that. If you have any hint, i'd be happy to get pointed to it.. Beetle
  6. Hi, does by chance someone run an XL with U1MB AND a CSS BlackBox? My old 1250XLD (1200XL with PBI mod and BlackBox) is having some problems with the installed oldschool RAMdisk, and i'm tempted to upgrade it. If we disable U1MB PBI BIOS, i guess the BB can work? Is there someone who is able to test that combo? Thanks in advance, Beetle
  7. Hej Atarians, I have a Sophia Rev.B RGB at hand. It was installed to a 1200XL and connected to a Commodore 1084s. The picture syncs stable with either, CSYNC from Sophia or Pin12 of the CD4050 chip. But i only get red text on black. I don't know what firmware is installed and no matter what i try on the pinout, its only the red text that gets displayed. At least that is very sharp. I'm open and thankful to any hint. Greets, Beetle
  8. and for future searches: it was Boot MyDOS > I > D7: /N (/N behind the drive, not before), but the hint was completely correct! Thanks again Beetle
  9. Ah, the "/n" was all i am missing.... thanks!
  10. yeah, i formatted with SDX FORMAT tool, but was unable to change drive mode from "SPARTA" to anything else.
  11. Hi Atarians, how would i need to configure a partition on CF card (Ultimate 1MB with SIDE2 or Incognito) to be able to use it with MyDOS and not SpartaDOS? I made a 65535 sector partition with 256byte sectors with SDX FDISK, set it to D7: and configured U1MB to SDX disabled, boot drive D1: The Machine boots MyDOS from D1 (SIO2IDE, 16MB ATR) and i configured D7: as hi density drive with 65535 sectors, then saved DOS files to D1 before cold boot. Now D7 is shown as "7H" in the info line of Mydos menu, as expected. Directory of D7 is full of garbled characters and graphic symbols. Initializing of Drive 7 fails with Error 136. Does someone have a hint for me? Otherwise i'd need to try mounting the 16MB ATR through the SIDE2 Loader and cold boot, but i can't save that config in a profile, i guess. I also tried to initialize the partition D7: with the SDX format tool, but i could not set the drive Mode from Sparta to MyDOS... Greetings and thanks in advance, Beetle
  12. I'll have a look at it after my upcoming vacation. That 0.21 image has to be somewhere on my data graveyard. And i know it was booting to a command line.
  13. Hi there, i digging out this old thead. I was asked if i still have the atr file i linked in my initial posting. After a provider change, that file is 404 now. Did someone download it and decided to keep it? When i try to compile the disk, i get a segfault... Greets, Beetle
  14. Ok, ROM version is 1.20 now. The error 61 is gone, i get an "Not an Indus/LDW/CA drive!" message after approx 24 seconds of "testing RAMCharger..." The trackcounter is not changing this time. The drive works as to expect otherwise. I have been able to fix the CP/M and RAMCharger Utility disks boot sectors with CPMTOOL 0.5 successfully. ("Done!" message)
