  1. Only getting a digital release initially, physical version by LRG later. The only price announced so far is $29.99 on Switch. Other platforms will probably be the same. As much as I want this collection, I won't pay that much for a digital game. LRG hasn't even announced pre-orders yet so it'll probably be a long wait...
  2. I play ps3 a few times a month. There were so many ps3 exclusives that I still have a huge backlog... And, I avoid any remasters/re-releases on newer systems. I'd rather play the original ps3 release than re-purchase a game I already own.
  3. FYI, there are a few variations of Aircars for Jaguar. The original ICD release is rare and sells for $$$. The more recent reprints aren't worth as much. Also, it isn't just that the labels are different, they all have slightly different revisions of the game. The game supports LAN multiplayer via Jaglink but not all variations are compatible for network play.
  4. War and Peace sounds about right. The franchise has been evolving for about 40 years with pen & paper rpgs, tabletop miniature war games (still popular at my local comic shop), collectible card games, books, comics, and videogames. There's Warhammer (medieval fantasy), Warhammer 40k (sci-fi), Space Hulk, and other spin-offs. This wiki lists the videogames and their genres: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Games_Workshop_video_games A couple of my favorites: Space Hulk: Vengeance of the Blood Angels is a first person squad based strategy game. Graphics are dated but still offers great gameplay and tense atmosphere. Warhammer 40k: Space Marines is a fun pick up and play third person shooter. No strategy, just a space marine thrown into war zone after war zone. Warhammer games vary so much in gameplay and quality that you really have to check videos/reviews for each to see which ones you might like...
  5. No specifics yet. They just announced that the collection is coming in 2024. The linked page should update as they release more details.
  6. Coming in 2024 from Digital Eclipse, Llamasoft history presented in the same format/series as the Atari 50 Collection. https://www.digitaleclipse.com/games/llamasoft
  7. I had two $25 PSN gift cards that I wasn't going to use. Sold them for $22 PayPal f&f each. Thanks!!
  8. Sort of trivial, but I wish they'd add an info node about the 7800 hardware to the timeline. Strange that they ignored the system and jumped straight to the games.
  9. As long as it's an SATA drive and 9.5mm or less in height it should be good. Found a recent article with recommended drives: https://www.gamesradar.com/best-ps4-ssd/ If you've only installed one or two games so far you may be able to skip any data transfer steps they mention...
  10. It's very easy to swap. Trap door to access the drive so you don't need to open the system. Here's a decent tutorial:
  11. Yeah, all games are fully installed but you still need the disc in the drive as a security key to play. It's stupid that you're filling the HDD with single play cutscenes that could easily be streamed from the disc. Makes digital/physical versions functionally equivalent... except that you can re-sell a disc.
  12. Not a game suggestion, but my biggest gripe with PS4 is that games have to be fully installed on the hard disk, even if you buy physical discs. A lot of modern games are 100GB or more after update patches, so if you only have a 500GB or 1TB internal HDD it fills up quick. If you're just starting with PS4 I'd recommend swapping to a larger internal drive or getting an external HDD before you start buying many games. You could just uninstall/reinstall games as you go along, but if I could go back and start over I'd get a 2TB internal HDD on day one. External HDD dangling off the system is a nuisance. Note that you'd need a 2.5" notebook HDD that's 9.5mm or less in height. I think 2TB is the largest capacity available for internal and they're only about $70.
  13. Selling a few Jaguar sports games. Games are in really good shape. All have manuals but may be missing registration cards. Shipping is additional and will be calculated at exact usps postage rate. PayPal f&f. Slight discount for multiple items. Fever Pitch Soccer (CIB) - $80 Supercross 3D (CIB) - $50 White Men Can't Jump w/Team Tap (factory sealed) - $50 Troy Aikman Football (CIB) - $40
  14. Going through the challenges would probably help. The 30 challenge levels are just playing each boss individually. You can figure out a strategy for the tough ones without a long arcade mode lead-up.
