  1. Wow I am horrible at this one. One I think that a joystick would benefit. Great game though!
  2. Yay I beat the game. I know I'm the minority here, but I really liked this one. If this was available NTSC I'd be picking it up for sure. Neat rocket ship screen in the end as well. If anyone is interested I got a snap of it and can post it. 288,490
  3. Whatever the green things (ammo) that show up in the middle of the road are, they are usually followed by 1 to 2 oil slicks. Green diamond thing in middle of road is more ammo, the blue one is more fuel. To kill a car without guns is the same as killing them with guns, just takes longer. Hit the fire button and ram them from behind (that sounded dirtier than it should) I agree on Armor repair being first, with Fuel second, Tires third. The yellow diamonds while hard as hell to get will repair your Engine, so I leave it for last. Once you get the hang of the game and take less damage Armor falls to third. Fuel, Tires, Armor, Engine. Super fun game. Glad it was picked as I've never thought to play it. 104,560
  4. Games on a bookshelf I made for my Atari and NES games, extra controllers and wires in a tupperware drawer thing my wife bought me so that I wouldn't leave extra controllers and wires everywhere
  5. Wish I had more time this last week. I really like this one, but only got to run 4 games total. I'll post my current high in case I don't get to try one more time.
  6. Mine was when I finally got it in my head that they were cubes. Poorly drawn which threw me off to begin with, but cubes. If I picture them as cleaner line versions of themselves, it really helps (in my head at least) see the way they would turn when Qbert jumps off of them. Like a child's block would rotate. That being said, I haven't beat 45,000 yet, so I'm not sure my way of thinking is really the best
  7. I still have my 17 games, complete with my name written on them by my Mom (though she was nice enough to write it on a piece of tape and put it on the plastic on the side of the carts to not ruin the label. No clue why she did it that way, but go Mom..) My original sixer shorted out and started smoking during a Laser Blast score flip session back in the late 80's Though I think I still have the remains back at my parent's attic.
  8. 35,345.. Don't own this one, and not liking the keyboard Game is tricky, but fun. Always did like the arcade, even if I wasn't too good at it
  9. I love the overall look of Snoopy and the Red Baron. Second favorite would probably be Revenge of the Beefsteak Tomatoes for it's sheer weirdness.
  10. Going to agree with Bowling. Even as a kid, I would spend hours playing that one.
  11. I had 2 "deaths" at that point. Both from my first run through the game. Once I got the hang of it, I only got close to dying once from a tricky Spaceship call point. (under a bottom well on the screen with 8 wells on it). However I was progressing much slower point wise than Random_Terrain. Probably would have taken me around 15 hours to roll it. I really like this game quite a bit now. Glad it was chosen this week, because I don't think I would have made it through the first hour unless I had a reason to Ah thanks! Assumed it was something easy I was overlooking. I'll do it that way next time around.
  12. Started off hating the game, but after about an hour actually started to enjoy myself. Unfortunately my wife came home around the 4 hour mark and asked me why the hell I was still playing ET so I finished that round and called it quits. Not sure how to make pictures in thumbnail form like everyone else is doing. Gogo forum newbie.
  13. Slight improvement, and final score for me. No time to play more before time is up. 41,800.
