The new CF card reader should be here in a day or two. I'll try the suggestions mentioned. @Gary from OPA or anyone else, if that fails, could I send the unit to someone to have a look at. Obviously happy to cover postage costs and a contribution for time spent.

I've not checked the content of the CF card itself, but whilst this might sound a silly question - does the CF card have to be properly formatted and loaded for it to be recognised?

I'll wait for the new card reader to arrive before trying again.

The CF card reader itself looks a bit worse for wear and some of the traces may be damaged. I will source another one and try that. I'm not giving up just yet.

OK Some photos to follow. Not used DU2K before so please bear with me. This is on my second TI994A. I have come to the conclusion my first one may be faulty or needs stripping down and cleaning.

Thanks @Gary from OPA For what it's worth I've also got a Backbit with a TI99 adaptor, so should be able to get it to work somehow.

@Stuart @OLD CS1 do you know if images of those cartridges are available for Flashrom? I have two of those.
