Unholy

In his first mission, the young monk Gabriel Sancti finds himself in trouble when facing a haunted and unknown mansino to save the young Isabella Lorraine from evil's hand. In addition to having to discover the secrets of the mansion by opening doors and finding passages, Gabriel will need to rescue four survivors before facing the final duel with the Devil!

Gameplay

You are Gabriel Sancti, a young monk, and your mission is to rescue four survivors and exorcise Isabella, all while exploring an unknown mansion. You have four lives with which to complete your mission, as well as an energy bar to track the health of your current life.

The house has many doors, some of which are locked, requiring you to find the correct key before they can be opened. These doors are colored, with the corresponding key sharing the same color as the door. There is a larger door featuring four "Padlocks of the Souls". Each padlock represents a survivor, and that door can only be unlocked with the corresponding key, and only after all the survivors have been rescued.

The mansion has different levels with many rooms. There are some rooms with pits, and you must take care to avoid them and not fall to your death. There are others with unholy symbols made of blood on the floor that can hurt you if you remain standing on them for some time. Each room has two enemies that must be eliminated before you can travel to the next or previous room.

While exploring, you may find keys, holy water (used to regenerate some energy), holy oil (used as a full energy regenerator), and extra lives. You may also find levers, which can be used to open/close some passages if you shoot them.

The game ends when Gabriel's lives are extinguished or when you rescue all the survivors and exorcise Isabella.

Get a Unholy Box!

If you'd like a boxed copy of Unholy, please select "Box Upgrade: Yes" at the top of the page before adding Unholy to your cart. Our boxes are professionally printed and include a box insert to hold your Unholy cartridge in place. We want you to play our games, so we have not sealed or shrinkwrapped the boxes in any way, allowing you easy access to the game cartridge and manual.

These boxes are the same size as boxes Atari produced for their games "back in the day". They look great sitting on a shelf with your other boxed homebrew games, or alongside games from the classic Atari 2600 library. We only have a limited number of boxes for each game, and there is no guarantee they will become available again once our supplies are exhausted.
