|When Atari designed the 5200 they must have been thinking, "Bigger is Better!"
Everything about the 5200 is larger than the 2600, including the cartridges. Interestingly,
the labels for 5200 carts produced by Atari are the same exact size as their 2600
counterparts, but they're rotated 90 degrees. And carts produced by Atari for
the 5200 don't have end labels, which makes it difficult to find the cartridge
you're searching for when you have the stored in a bin! Most cartridges for the
5200 have space on the back of the cart to hold overlays.
As we continue to acquire carts we will add more scans to this list. At this
point we're pretty much missing only scans of Prototype cartridges. If you have
a cart in your collection that we're missing here and you're willing to scan
it in, please contact us!
