LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special - Spoiler-free review

49 in dog years

Today marks the seventh anniversary of my blog. Seven years!   That means I managed to survive longer without being cancelled than Star Trek: The Next Generation, or Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, or even Star Trek: Voyager! So how about that! Of course I long-ago surpassed Enterprise, but hey, I've got socks that lasted longer than that show. And...   What?   What do you mean they don't cancel blogs?   Really?   Man... I've been putting way too much effort into this.

Vroom-vroom!

Yet more mini-arcade action! This time, it's all about racing games:   Pole Position actually has a tiny little steering wheel... but it's actually just a steering wheel shaped joystick. No analog controls. Although for this version, analog isn't really needed. You also don't need to shift, the buttons just accelerate and brake, but really, adding shifting to something this small would be a little ridiculous. (Get it? Ultra SCSIcide (2005) UltraSCSIcide is Joe Grand's update to his classic twitch game SCSIcide. (Incidentally, I'm still really irritated by the forum software's inexplicable need to resize images that don't need to be resized.
