I really liked the way the 2600 I drew for my avatar turned out, so I decided to see what else I could do with it.
Here are a couple of illustrations I did for an AtariAge flyer, which Albert is packing in with shipments from the AA store.
They're black and white since, well, they get printed in black and white.
Feel free to make up your own captions.

Probably But he has to swim through fish pee Can he ride a seahorse? No he can't, they're too small. After years of searching, I finally found the WarGames soundtrack on CD.
While the soundtrack never did have an official, commercial release, a limited production run of promotional CDs was made, and I managed to locate one.
A complete review of it is now up on my website - MacMAME.net - in the Reviews section.
Enjoy!
By now, probably the whole planet knows that Steve Jobs passed away today, at the entirely-too-young age of 56.
For the man who brought Apple back from the brink to turn it into one of the most powerful companies in the world, there was no miraculous turnaround for himself.
Obituaries describing his life are everywhere. This one is as good as any. It will be interesting to read his biography, when it comes out later.
What made Steve Jobs interesting to me though, was that he made pro
When I first heard that they were making a Han Solo solo movie, my first thought was, "Why?" I already knew what I wanted to know about the character. I didn't care about unanswered questions from his past. Sometimes, a character is more interesting because you don't know everything about them. Take Darth Vader, for instance. He was a much more interesting character before the prequels revealed that he was an annoying, cherubic urchin, who grew up to be a spoiled, whining, obnoxious emo-brat.
I've been working on the manual for Four-Play, which includes the mini-game Knight Jumper.
For the Knight Jumper page, I wanted to draw a cartoon chess knight. The first version I attempted (drawn in the computer) was, to put it kindly, awful.
I tried re-working it and re-working it, until I finally realized it just wasn't going to work.
So, I decided to dig out paper and pencil, and go at it "old-school". And after a few attempts, got something I really liked, which will be the one
This is the strip I hadn't planned on posting originally, since it seemed a little more mean-spirited than others, plus the whole thing had died off in the forums anyway.
But I decided to post it anyway since:
I like the parallels between this and the old Intellivison/Atari rivalry, and this fits in very well with the
where George Plimpton tried to make the Intellivision come off as being superior in every way.
A new thread on this has started up, so it's no longer out-of-date.

Today marks the seventh anniversary of my blog. Seven years!
That means I managed to survive longer without being cancelled than Star Trek: The Next Generation, or Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, or even Star Trek: Voyager! So how about that! Of course I long-ago surpassed Enterprise, but hey, I've got socks that lasted longer than that show. And...
What?
What do you mean they don't cancel blogs?
Really?
Man... I've been putting way too much effort into this.
