Here's a little program I'm working on called, fittingly, Roulette. Right now, you can bet on black, red, or 1-18/19-36. Don't select odd/even because if you do, the world will explode (not really, I haven't programmed anything in for that option.) There's a blank space for the cursor to go to also, but that's for choosing your own number (another function I haven't programmed in yet.) The code is also available, but it's a total mess right now.
See the thread in the Lynx forum (I Got a Lynx!) for more info, but that's what I got. There were 2 Sega Saturns so I figured I could get one next weekend, (at least 1 would still be there if someone bought the other one.) Only one Lynx, and it's mine. Now I need more Lynx games for it. Look in the Wanted forum for a thread of what I want for it. Yay me!
...is now on the website in my signature (GBA 07). I still haven't decided between getting the Lynx or the Sega Saturn. The Sega Saturn is $30 loose, and the Atari Lynx is $50, but comes with 3 games. If I decide to get the Saturn, I'd get a few games I've had my eyes on and would come to a total of $50, so it's basically a toss-up. Or, I could spend $20 and get about 7 Game Gear/Genesis games (or I could spend $50 on 17 GG/Genesis games, but I probably won't be doing that.) I'll keep you posted
I was told people camped out overnight to see this movie. Now, Star Wars I could understand, but a new Spider-Man movie? Anyway, I got the game for GBA and I'll play it this evening (or tomorrow morning) and probably have a review sometime. I was going to make the page red for the GBA 07 site, but that color was taken by Meet The Robinsons. Maroon it is, then. And, I got it at Wal-Mart, out of all places. I went there thinking they weren't gonna have it, but they did, so I don't necessarily have
This Saturday I'm going to Best Buy to see if Spider-Man 3 for GBA is going to be there (it's supposed to come out tomorrow). What I'm more interested in is if M&Ms: Break 'Em is going to be there (if it came out, it would have come out Monday.) And apparently, I missed Petz Vet as a 2007 GBA release. Also, I have to get my hair cut Saturday, which I really hate because it's boring and I hate getting my hair wet. And apparently nobody else has a Game Gear game list to share. And apparently G
A small list, but here goes:
Bearenstain Bears Camping Adventure
Caesar's Palace
Mortal Kombat
NBA Jam
Pac-Man
Poker Face Paul's Blackjack
Poker Face Paul's Gin
Ren & Stimpy: Quest for the Shaven Yak
Ristar
Sonic 2
Super Columns
Taz-Mania
Tesserae
Woody Pop
Would anyone else like to share their Game Gear collection list?
Two by a British rock group called The Madness (one of the sides on one of them was scratched, but oh well), and one by the Toilet Boys (punk rock). I saw a third one by The Madness, but I didn't have enough money to get it. Might go back out later this week and pick it up. I'm still getting used to the new format, although "insert special item" doesn't work. None of the dropdown menus work on this thing, and it's really ticking me off. Oh well. Tomorrow, I turn 24 1/2, big whoop.
I decided not to have a review of Zoey 101 because it might be terrific for teen girls, but we hardcore gamers are obviously going to hate a game like that. But I did create a page for it asking for a review. I added one more piece of info for each game, the size of each game is now posted. Spider-Man 3 is coming out Friday, to coincide with the movie's release, apparently, and I will have a review for that a few days after its release.
Let me just say that I don't like the new settings here. It used to be so easy to do stuff, and now they've just turned it upside down. And now you can rate people, which scares me because I have a fear of rejection. I have a disease called Asperger's Syndrome, which is kind of like autism. I can talk and stuff, but, well, Google it. Anyway, it makes me hate changes and makes me very shy. I'm surprised I made it this far. Let's not go into my whole history (most of it isn't very pretty.)
I went to Value Village to see if there were any Atari 2600 games. There weren't any. But I did see an 8-track player that I contemplated buying. Since I didn't see any 8-tracks I like (except for Neil Diamond), and most 8-track tapes are crappy '70s music, I passed. However, I did get Zoey 101 at the K-Mart next door, which completes my GBA 07 collection so far (I don't know if M&M's Break 'Em is coming out or not tomorrow, since it mysteriously went off of IGN.com's release date list about
I went to Best Buy and got M&M's: Break 'Em and Cake Mania for the DS, guess I was subconciously hungry for chocolate . Both were $20. I saw Sudoku Mania for an amazingly low $10. I would have bought it, but I already have it. I also went to Game Crazy and bought Milo's Astro Lanes for the N64. I contemplated buying the Sega Saturn but passed because so few games for it come there. There's a Sega Master System there that they want $70 for! Good luck selling that, idiots.
I'm over my weirdness, which is weird. It comes and goes. Sometimes I act weird, and sometimes I don't. And what's stupid is that now there's more commercials that mention a 4-hour e******* than having genital herpes. "Call a doctor if you experience a (you know what) lasting more than 4 hours." There's a stupid commercial that acts like it's Breaking News, and it's for a furniture store. Ulg! Well, anyway, I hope to get Zoey 101 in the near future, which would complete my GBA 07 collection (tha
I just got into a weird mood after discovering my album i made of 3 long songs, each over 20 minutes long. One song is called "Genital Herpes" and it's generally a dance remix of me singing "Do you have/I have genital herpes!" over and over again. I actually don't have genital herpes, I sang that because i saw a commercial about genital herpes and every time an ad comes on talking about genital herpes I have to sing said song. The other ones are "Ham Sandwich" and "Bread", two I wrote. And I'm c
Here's an interesting program I'm working on. It's a platform game called Blob, in which you guide a round Blob through worlds. I'm going to add in some enemies later, but here's what I have so far. To turn the music off, set the left difficulty to A on the title screen. For PAL colors, set the right difficulty to A on the title screen. An interesting note: The blob was hovering above the ground, so how do I make it when you get off a cliff or something to go down? Easy: Set the blob to player1

I also am looking forward to Nanostray 2, but I don't know if or when it's coming out. Also, you'd think Nintendo would have somewhat of an idea for a rele
Hey kids, the great Atari god hath blessed upon me 8 new games that I got in the mail which brings my total to 144. And it filled my box up. Now I have to find a new place to keep the new ones I get. In other news, a few "must-get" DS games come out in May, among them the long-awaited "Death Jr. and the Science Fair of Doom." Now, PSP owners won't be the only ones playing Death Jr. So there. Now I have all rarity 2 Atari 2600 games except for 2 (Crossbow & Mega Force. If anyone would help m
What is the deal with this game? It came out today, and I waltzed into Wal-Mart and got one. What's more, there were about 5 or so copies left (and a few copies of Diamond, too.), and this was at 3pm today. I thought this game was going to be sold out because it's so popular, but I guess not. Well, anyway, I now have 72 DS games. And I have everything I want right now except Lost in Blue 1, so until the next big thing comes out (or unless I see a $20 game), I'm through with DS collecting for a l
Went to Game Crazy and surprisingly they had a whole bunch of new games there since the last time I went there. Most of them were common that I already had, but did manage to find a few I didn't have: Tutankham and Fun With Numbers, bringing my total to 136 (135 if you count Pele's Soccer and Championship Soccer as one game.) So yay me!
I'm just making this for fun (and to see if I could do it), but nonetheless, it's Solar Plexus. I'll probably work some more on this when my mom is using the phone to call her dad (my grandpa) every night (when I'm internet-less!) I'm having trouble understanding the 6lives.asm thing in bb v1.0, like "Where do I put it?", etc. I've designed the life sprites, given them a value and a color, but it's missing the all-important "include 6lives.asm" line because I don't know where to put it. Argh! We
Interesting, M&Ms: Break 'Em has mysteriously been taken off IGN's list, although the game profile still says 4/30. We'll just have to wait and see on that one, I guess. There are 3 games for May, and 3 for June, so that's good.
4/30 - M&M's: Break 'Em (?)
5/4 - Spiderman 3
5/22 - Surf's Up
5/25 - MLB 2k7
May (no specific date) - Shrek the Third
May (no specific date) - Frisbee/Frisbee Golf
6/4 - Deal or No Deal (pushed back from 6/1)
6/4 - Metal Slug (original arcade game on GBA
I'm working on a game that's kind of like WarioWare called ChrisWare (the title could change). It's micro-games based on Atari 2600 games for the Atari 2600. So far the game has three levels. Level 1 is based on Pac-Man (get the ghost), level 2 is based on ET (get out of the pit, very easy) and level 3 is Air-Sea Battle (kind of, shoot a duck.) I'll add more games as I think of stuff to rip off
Every Monday night that Jay Leno is new, I tape the Headlines segment. It's really funny. People send in the craziest stuff that gets into newspapers, magazines, etc. Here's just a sampling:
Yum.
Yum.
Yum.
For about 6 months. I went to the dentist today, and apparently I don't have any cavities. I don't know how they know that because they didn't take an x-ray of my teeth, but anyway, I can relax for 6 months. Then they'll take an x-ray of my teeth. And after all that, I messed up my teeth by stopping at Arby's and getting some curly fries. They were yummy. Well, anyway, that's it for now.
I updated the GBA 2007 webpage with a review of Drake & Josh. And I didn't badmouth it because of what it was based on, I badmouthed it because of the gameplay. And now I have to review Zoey 101, too! Hopefully all the pain I put myself through gets a good laugh
In other news, GoSub will be released in June. That's a clearer release date than Summer.
Since it would be pretty odd for me to go in and purchase "Drake & Josh" for my 2007 GBA blog (and website,) I sent Mom out to go out and purchase this game during her lunch half-hour. Right now I forced myself to watch an episode of said show, and the premise is this: Drake and Josh are two high-school juniors who basically get into madcap misadventures, all the time also being tortured by their younger sister. The review of this game on Nintendo World Report is hilarious, and, judging by t
