Bubsy Character Bio: https://web
When I originally started collecting Bubsy Art, I found that most of the art out there was Sponge Fox, and never would have imagined I'd have fun talking about some ideas of Bubsy art and various tinkering with concepts.
So first off the latest artwork. This is Bubsy with Bonkers with his niece and nephew. I thought it captured the characters well.
The next two were done in fun tinkering with what Bubsy would do if bored. Sponge Fox wants you to know this is not some kind of inflati
... I got the Bubsy shirt, and had fun wearing it when I went to kareokee at the Plato Loco here in Dallas. I took this picture, and was starting to photoshop out things in the background when I just went whole hog and had fun with it:
Ironically tonight while wearing this shirt I sang "This Cats on A Hot Tin Roof"
(This is not me singing, but to let you know how the tune of this song goes...)

And was a smashing success.

So my wife wanted a Wii, and we found one on sale over at the AAFES PX where I work. No Tax!
Yeh I always knew that when it came to my 7th gen game system it would be a Wii. But wasn't sure when I would get it. A really fun system.
So they have the ability to make little yous called "Mii's" or a "Mii". You have the basic, and I do mean BASIC character editor to give a little body a big head with the usual eyes, nose, hair, typical human colors for skin (no green or blue for examp
The Bubsy games contained little comics in them that have inspired hundreds of drawings of fan art. We had a request from Sponge Fox who was nice enough to let us feature some of her art here, so I figured I would get this posted so we all could enjoy yet another bit of the Bubster.

Earlier in my blog I made my own Bubsy shirt, having given up on finding the real mccoy, and here was my rendition..
But today I found the real thing, and I made sure to buy it, but if it never shows up, WE HAVE PICTURES!!!!
Wow.. this is an amazing day.
In Jaguar Bubsy every level is given ten minutes. You have 15 levels.
Running a straight clock from beginning to end including the parts in between where you have the points counted, the best I could manage was about 46 minutes. Sadly you have no way to hit a button to hit the in between parts.
So I started to note the in game timer. The times below are what were listed in the game as time remaining...

For the Atari 8-bit computer High Score Club we had a fun round of the arcade version of STAR WARS.

To have more fun, I asked everyone what their characters would look like if put in a STAR WARS setting, and they gave some unique answers. Little by little as a photoshop challenge I've created pictures for my other Atari friends for the fun of it, so here is what I have so far. This blog entry will change from time to time.
This picture modified for the 8-bit High Score Club challenge for the fun of it.

With the arrival of Super Bubsy last night, I feel my Bubsy Bobcat collection is basically complete...
As you can see, I've picked up where he has shown up on the covers of magazines, I have the playing guides... (isn't it great that God gives life so we can blow on stuff like this...LOL!)
I have all the Bubsy games across the platforms...
Bubsy (1) -Genesis, SNES/Super Famicon, PC (Super Bubsy)
Bubsy (2) - Genesis, SNES, Gameboy
Bubsy (3) - Jaguar
Bubsy 3D - Playstation
Welcome to the fan blog of
BUBSY BOBCAT!!
Some blog entries will be pictures, some stories, and just other fun. Half the fun of being a Bubsy fan is the uniqueness of anything fan made about Bubsy. So what you have in this blog is a collection of pictures that have appeared over the internet. I place them here as a mirror so that the art will not be lost, however if you are the owner to some of this art, please let me know. Be good to hear from another Bubsy F
Tonight I was looking for Bubsy Bobcat material using search engines other than Google. I tried one call PicSearch...

It was there that I ran into the art work of Phillip Vaughan who helped re-imagine the Bubsy character for the 1995 release for the PC platform "Super Bubsy", perhaps the best graphics for the 2D version of the Bubster. I found his art gallery at:

As always I like to ask the artists if I

An alien race known as the "Woolies" have come to Earth to jack its supply of yarn...just sounds like something your cat would love right? Anyway,
There have occationally been songs about Bubsy. I'll try to feature them here.
"Main Character Verbs a Noun"
This one is a sound clip remix from the one shot cartoon "Series". But there was so much material in that show. You can see the original above, or you hear my remix. Me, I don't care so much for distorted sound and bursts of loud noise suddenly, so I edited all those bits out in the MP3 below.

The jackass thing for a Bubsy fan to do would be to find a real Bobcat and try to put a T-shirt on it with a red exclaimation point. Now as cool as this would be, the bobcat would probably say "WTF man?!?" and it wouldn't be pretty.
I joked about this time and time, and then I realized, what WOULD I do if I ever came across a real Bobcat? I live in Texas where Bobcats tend to live quite a lot, and I have friends who have had Bobcat sightings. When I hear their stories I am envious and scared

Mer fordi alle ser ut til å hate spillet, mens jeg selv faktisk har hatt stor glede av det en gang i tiden. Spillet er hverken frustrerende eller vanskelig, som alle skal ha det til. Det er bare et spill hv

With the comment we had yesterday (about the taxidermy job on the last Bobcat) I started looking around and found this picture of another job, and yeh, this is a lot better. I like how they took a picture of it in the back yard, and I have to say... wow... I think I would flip my lid if I saw this in my back yard.
Bubsy made a lot of appearances in magazines, here are some of those.

It gives me extreme pleasure to introduce to you one of the most crazy Bubsy fan artists I've yet to see on DeviantArt, SpongeFox. SpongeFox was gracious enough to let me repost the Bubsy art here, so long as I gave her credit, and no one else stole the work, so look and enjoy folks.
When asked about Bubsy SpongeFox said, "I've played Fractured Furry Tales on a Jaguar Emulator. Pretty hard btw. And as for my story line for the Twins, I figured they could be Woolies in disguise. I didn't lik
Made this just for this thread here on Atariage after someone gave praise to the game I-War, which was a ok TRON-like game. I realized I had not Bubsy-ized it, so I made my spoof. Here was the thread I made this for...

These were interesting screen shots of Bubsy 3D. I like the one where Bubsy is in what looks like a city street and he is facing the camera. A BIG part of the problem I had with Bubsy 3D was that you looked at his back throughout the entire game. Bubsy is probably facing the screen since he just got back from dieing.

Apparently someone who thought the game was obscure enough to be forgotten, but fun enough that they liked it. I know that is why I like the Bubster.
