I have made some sample boxes for the nice homebrew shooter Lead (Game Programming by Simone Serra, Label Design by Hernan Callo). Which look do you like best?
This time it's the box for Mr SQL's port of the Philips Videopac hit Munchkin to the 2600 Supercharger. It's a limited real tape version like back in the days. You still can order it here: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/222606-kc-munchkin-monster-maze-atari-2600/. My approach on this box is a mix of my Starpath template and the original Philips game.
I am working on a series of trading cards for the INTV (with the support of the INTV Funhouse) for quite some time now after finishing the Atari 7800 trading cards. Today I have received the test prints and the cards are looking fine. I have to do a few small changes but then they are ready to go.
The first series with 50 cards features the original Mattel releases and a nice box. A set costs EURO 35 including shipping airmail letter (robust box/uninsured/no tracking). For insurance
Here a box for the game Heart like a Wheel (based on the movie with the same title) from 20th Century Fox. The artwork used is from a movie theatre poster. If you want to know more about the game just check the page on AtariProtos right here: http://www.atariprotos.com/2600/software/unknown3/unknown3.htm
This box is for Frog Pond, an unreleased Atari game. The artwork is based on the AtariAge magazine from 1982, the general look is from a silver style Atari layout.
More details on the game are here: http://www.atariprotos.com/2600/software/frogpond/frogpond.htm
Back in 2007 I made boxes for the Flashback 2 exclusive games with the ok from Curt. I did a very limited run complete with manuals and carts.
Now I've made a digitally printed run of 5 box-only sets. Here's the games list:
Adventure 2
Aquaventura
Arcade Pong
Asteroids
Asteroids Deluxe
Caverns of Mars
Combat Two
Frog Pond
Lunar Lander
Return to Haunted House
Saboteur
Save Mary!
Space Duel
Wiza
Here's my take on 20th Centrury Fox' Fall Guy (formerly known as Squish 'Em from Sirius Software). The label art was displayed on a promotional flyer, a bin is yet to be found.
This time I proudly present Dan Cage's (bfstats here on AtariAge) reproduction boxes for the US releases from Epyx:
- California Games
- Summer Games
- Winter Games
They have the original design, shrinked down to the regular Atari 2600 box size for Dan's long-time project "THE WALL". He kindly has given me the ok to offer the designs along with my box creations.
