Opening sealed games
I get kinda worried when I open sealed games. Especially ones I want to play. On one side, you want to preserve them, but on the other side, you want to make sure the factory worker remembered to put a copy of the game in. (OK, maybe that last part is just me.) I have wanted to play LocoRoco 2 for the PSP ever since I got it, but the mere fact that it was sealed had prevented me from doing so. Well, earlier I broke through the fear and I opened it and played it. It was fun. Played the sucker for about 18 minutes I did. Beat the first level. Which took about 9 minutes, much longer than most platforming games. See, it's a lot like Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat since the only way to move is to tilt the world with the L and R shoulder buttons. Jumping is both L and R shoulder buttons together. I learned something. Pressing the L+R doesn't do the trick, the Locoroco actually jumps when you RELEASE the L + R buttons after pressing them. I was wondering why my jumping was odd and a little off. I must remember this. I love the art style, I love the game's play mechanics. So will level 2 be utterly impossible? I don't know, the only way of finding out is playing it! I am also looking for a gokart racing game other than ModNation Racers since I don't really like that game so much. I guess I have been ignoring it since I turned it on and nothing happened. Oh great, did it break? No, it just needed to be charged. I want games with boxes, so when I bought a broken game I said aw nuts and now i'm using its box for a box for another game i bought that didn't have a box for it. I took the lining of the box out. Good thing the broken game cartridge thingy was only $5 or else I would have been p.o.ed. I'm building my PSP game collection right now, I only have 8 games since I bought it last December, so I'm looking for more.
