Eat More Bananaz

Worked some more on Eat Dem Bananaz today. Changes:

+ I made it so the bottom is blue so instead of a mouth, it looks like a bird's beak peeking out of the water hunting for bananas.

+ Two bananas fall at the same time. I don't know what I changed from eat3.bas, but now when the level changes, the bananas that were already dropped still drop at the same speed and the next banana at the top falls at a faster rate (instead of a falling banana suddenly speeding up. That doesn't happen in nature.)

+ Got rid of the "EAT!" part, since when play begins, it suddenly changes and becomes backwards. (Why?!)

Changes in the future:

+ Add lemon to avoid. Will pop up randomly.

+ Change banana sprite. I hate the one that's up now.

+ Change score font.

+ Add b/w-color function.

Some may question why I like making 2k Atari 2600 games instead of 4k (or larger.) The answer is just to see if I can do things in 2k, the challenge of it. Of course, this game isn't particularly challenging to fit into 2k (if visual bB isn't lying to me) since I have 270 bytes left to do whatever I want and still make it 2k. So unless something dramatic happens, I think I can fit this into 2k.

The days seem to fly by lately. I don't know why, but time seems to be going quicker. I can't believe March of 2013 is tomorrow. Seems odd. Maybe it's just me...

Maybe you need to have EAT reflected to display properly. After a DRAWSCREEN the REFP0 or REFP1 value reverts back to 0 instead of 8. I actually sometimes rely on it resetting in my code to simplify things.
