Work begins on Manos 2
I don't care that someone is making a sequel to the movie. I'm going to go ahead with my own version. I've made a little page for Manos 2. It includes a sneak peek of the beginning, an animation I did of a thing called "Cedar Productions." I doubt this will make the film any better, but I thought it would be neat to do a little thing like this at the beginning, since movies do that nowadays. It took me a few hours and 57 images to do this. Most of the time spent was fine-tuning the synchronization between the music I composed and what was happening on screen. Also on the "Manos 2" page is a four-page article about the original movie I found laying around. I also have a vision for the first few minutes' worth of the movie. There's this place not too far from here that looks just like the place used in the first moments of the original (the "agonizingly long" driving sequence). I'm going to film some stuff out here. So filming begins this weekend or so. Oh, by the way, here's Manos 2's official webpage: http://www.atari2600land.com/manos2/
Tell me what you think of the Cedar Productions thing I made.
