I compiled 10 year birthday with CCI3 to see if sound works.

Turns out, the play_sounds functions doesn't work. I have to original ROM with the music playing, that one works but that one was already compiled and included in the newcoleco dev kit. I'll have to look for this functions and see it assembly code. This is Marcel's code. Either way, I'll get sounds to work in my project one way or another.

I guess I'm not as stubborn as you, so because of some other issues I had with SDCC, I went back to the old method. A bit more tedious for compiling, but it works. Sorry I can't help you.

I'm very stubborn, but I do admit that not too proud of it. I do have control over the situation and explore the problem. I will try to do trial and error until the goal is achieved. The last thing I want to do start blaming things on people. I do not like to hurt other people's feeling. My father likes to blame others, but doesn't accept his fault. I, myself, however take in the blame or don't pass blame at all. Blaming other does nothing, action works much better than blaming.

But,

I'm studying z80 assembly. I am hesitant using PkK method of installing his libraries. I do wish it was more specific of what files to download from Cypher. So there's 2 back up plans, just in case. The SDCC does output an asm file.. TsiASM will assemble z80 assembly. Whatever I type in asm is all on me.

Thanks for the comment.
