Microvision homebrew (part 11)

OK. I will need to learn basic electronics if I ever hope to do this. The Parallax chip I bought and opened will have to wait. I will get an electronic kit to hopefully teach me about the way electronics work. Maybe get a kit with lights that I can get to flash on and off. I know the Parallax chip can do these things too, but first I need to learn how and what to do to use that thing. So hopefully a kit won't be too expensive. Just a small one to tinker with. I learn best by tweaking already existing examples. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any for Microvision programming. So maybe if I take baby steps here I might be able to get a program running on the Microvision's 40th birthday in 2019, that is, if the two I have still work then!
