Xevious
I kind of did this as a joke. Hardest joke I ever did. But I did it. Took me two whole days and trying just about everything to make it work. Make what work? Making the shiny glare on the Xevious sign on the title screen move from left to right. Yes, that's all I did for the past two days. When I had finally achieved what I desired, I put it into my Odyssey 2. Works fine. I was worried that the characters might overlap, causing untold ugliness and mayhem, but they didn't. Now the question is do I keep working on this and make a full-fledged game out of this, or not? I tried to find YouTube videos of the title screen, but they never taped very much of it, so I don't know what the glare-white thing does once it goes all the way to the right. Here I just looped it to the beginning. Anyway, it was an AtariAge thread that got me thinking about a Xevious homebrew, so I decided to attempt it on the Odyssey 2 since the Atari 2600 version was never finished.
