Alice! Aliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice
Hi
Alice is a C64 Basic game from the magazine Ahoy! The goal is to find all the keys and find the white rabbit.
Alice is based on the book Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll.
For a basic game, it has a decent speed.
LOL. Alice can be played only using keyboard. The joystick is not supported.
It's where the game begins.
I like this game because there are no ennemies to dodge. You guide Alice using the keyboard. She stops when she enters in the room.
In the game, you can collect gold coins. If you have enough of coins, you buy a key. You don't need to find a key in the rooms.
A golden hen? I'm not sure. What I am sure, the hen can take away a key (not always) and you'll need to find the key again. You can avoid hens by not entering hen rooms.
Alice contains six levels to find the keys. You can go up and down with the stairs but you need the elevator key to use the elevator.
The cat gives you hints to find one of the six keys. The cat appears in all the levels.
The glass room is a kind of trap. When enetering in it, Alice appears everywhere and any levels.
The pit: you fall down to the previous level.
You need the glass room key and the pit key to prevent getting trap.
Sometimes, you go in the room like this and pay a coin for food or going to party.
You don't need to eat to keep healt in this game. Just avoid those rooms.
The basic game is not flawless.
- The green key opens yellow doors.
- Sometime, Alice can go throught the wall but she can be trapped in the next room if she has no keys.
- You can fall down or appear in the room without exits. OUCH!
- Never find the white rabbit enven if the hint is given.
- If you quit the game, it tells you if you want to continue or quit.
Continue meas save the game, not going back to the game.
Anyway I enjoyed playing this game. It is cute.
