As it turns out, I was using an outdated version of Game Maker. The newer one, which I installed a couple of times but couldn't get to work, I installed it again and it magically worked. So I don't have to pay anything, and I got rid of the Game Maker title screen, all for free. I would be happy, except for the dumb dog. I took the idiot outside to pee and she chased a squirrel. She made me fall down but I was able to keep holding the leash. She kept wanting to know where the squirrel was, but it had left and climbed up a tree. The dog wanted to climb up the tree after it, but I made her pee. I wonder what she'd do if she caught it? Eat it? It's one of those mysteries of life.

Any thoughts on distribution? I'd suggest buying the cheapest (yet most up-to-date) DS flash carts and then putting your own label on them.

Well, I haven't thought about distribution and sales yet, I just started work on the game, but I suppose theloon has the right idea with buying cheap flash carts and putting my label on them. I wonder if you can lock a flash cart so it would stay GoSub.
