Going through my old computer, I found stuff I had made about the LeapFrog Didj. I instantly thought "I should try and go find it!" The garage is a cold place since it had gotten below freezing outside the last week or so. My first venture out into the cold garage, all I had were really cold feet (I went out looking for 10 minutes barefoot!) The second time, I looked all around the pantry. I didn't find the system itself, but I did find the five games I had for it. So I'm thinking the system itself might be in the pantry. Or it could be out in the garage. I don't know, I can't find it. Anyway, once I find it, my first task is to see if it still works. My second task is, if it still works, buy more games for it. Now, if you don't know what the Didj is, it's an (unsuccessful) handheld game for kids to learn on. They're educational games, but mixed with platforming to actually make the kids enjoy it. But apparently they didn't, and so it was discontinued and replaced by some other stupid thing. Seeing this reignited my dream of one day someone figuring out how to make homebrew games for it so I can make Grand Theft Auto for the Didj. For grades 3rd-5th, ages 8-10, and the subject focusing on math, mostly for buying guns and stuff. Perhaps I can throw in this story problem: If you're going 92 mph down the highway, and the speed limit is 60, how fast above the speed limit are you going? ;) Honestly, I've never played Grand Theft Auto, but I think I should probably at least look at a FAQ/Walkthrough to see how to play it. Hey, it's a better fit than an X-Men game about spelling. (It's one of the games I have here.) So the next time I feel like it,(which I probably don't want to leave the dog alone, she hates being by herself. When I leave her to go in my room and then walk in the living room and talk to her, she wags her tail.) I want to keep searching for it.
