Stuck
Well, it snowed. About an inch or so. But do you know what? It's not going to melt. Not for another few days at least. It's supposed to be below freezing for the entire weekend, so this means no trips anywhere. I'll be stuck here the whole weekend. I live in a place that normally gets snow every other winter or so. And it's rare to see temperatures this cold. They're predicting Sunday's low will be 9. Fahrenheit. I don't even remember the last time it was that cold. Must be before I was even born 31 years ago perhaps? Well, when it gets that low, it doesn't really mean much between 20 and 9, so who cares? I worked on Insecticide again waiting for it to snow. I got Gi-Ant's throwing special move in. I gave up at about 4 am. Mom woke me up at 6am and said it was snowing. I opened my eyes and out my bedroom window I saw snow in the courtyard. I went back to sleep. I woke up periodically to check if it was snowing. Sometimes it was, sometimes it wasn't. You'd think with all this snow, we'd get more than one lousy inch. We're stuck here anyway, why not snow a foot or so? Go all out. This is the dog's first snow apparently. Our dog came from California to the humane society. She loves it apparently. She likes to eat it. Well, at least one member of our family likes it. The cat is an indoor cat and Mom hates it. I love it, if it melts the next day like it usually does. But man, I can't wait until Wednesday or so when it finally warms up to 40 and there's no more stuff like this.
