That is the low expected tonight. To tell you how this doesn't happen here, I looked in the newspaper for the record low yesterday. It was 18. We're talking Fahrenheit, not centigrade. I plan to be up between 2-4am (which is when this event is "scheduled".) I plan to tape Svengoolie tonight at 10pm-12am, and then wait two hours for it to reach 8 or so. Maybe 7. The snow from yesterday morning is still here, although I did think it melted a little due to the sun being out. Despite the sun's appearance, it only got to 30 or so. Right now it's 22. An hour or so ago, it was 22 and I saw some idiot outside walking his dog! Well, Mom is going to have to take the dog out when she gets home, but not for a leisurely (?) walk. The family minus me is out for dinner and seeing the annual Christmas light display in the neighborhood I grew up in in Keizer. I wanted to go, but am thankful I didn't because my stomach started hurting. I probably would have crapped my pants. Well, anyway, Mom left me a note saying she wants to be home by 9 or 9:30. I was asleep. Sleep is my escape mechanism for these stupid below freezing temperatures. If I'm tired enough, once it reaches 7, I'll tape Weatherscan for a little bit and then go back to sleep.
