Pipe Nightmare!

This is just me fiddling around with Odyssey 2 programming and wasting time. Bob the Plumber has a really big problem: Various critters keep coming out of the pipes! Your job: Stomp them from underneath and kick them away! If I go ahead with this, there will be a major change: Bob himself could actually use the pipes! I want this to be my first 4k game. I don't know how to bankswitch yet, so it will take a few years to finally get it finished (that's how slow I am.) but I need to keep up my Odyssey 2 programming skills for an answer to my Nice Ice problem. Any sprite designers here want to help design Bob? Go ahead. You can even do animation, just keep in mind that you can only have him be one color and he must be at maximum 8x8 tall. For taller than 8 pixels, I could put a second sprite on top of the first for a then maximum of 16. Or you could do what I did with Santa in Nice Ice or Super Giuseppe: Have 2 one color sprites and have one be skin and the other be clothes. The score then would be at the top. But I didn't put it in yet. In fact, all you get when you run the program is this.

And even that took an hour of swearing and cursing. As you can see, the pipes are in the way of making Bob go to the extreme left or right. This is also why Bob can use the pipes. I figured "If Mario couldn't, would that mean that Bob couldn't either? Of course not!" And, yes, there is a destroy all enemies on screen block. Of course, none of this is set in stone and I still need to change stuff and I might not even start on it. It's just an idea at this point.
