Dreamcast game thoughts - part 2
Since I did the first one, I got three games for it. Let's take a look at them.
Ms. Pac-Man: Maze Madness - Essentially the same version of the N64. I loved the N64 version and it is one of the few games I actually beat...ever. I was able to write a guide for it which is floating around the files of my website somewhere. Oh, here it is: http://www.atari2600land.com/ms.html Anyway, it also has the original Ms. Pac-Man arcade game too. So basically, it's 2 games in one. Or something.
Looney Tunes: Space Race - OK, this one puzzled me a little bit. I kept wondering why I was being hit by anvils. As it turns out, a computer got an item and used it on me. It usually happens once or twice per lap, which is much too often. But I fought back and won the first race. There's only 6 characters racing, so Mario Kart 64 did better. Now I have two more tracks to go. Hopefully I can unlock something else or else I'll trade this one in again.
Floigan Bros. - I finished the tutorial...barely. All this time I kept wondering where stuff was even when it showed where it was to me. And half the time was spent falling off a ramp and trying to get back on it. For you see, you can't jump unless it's an option. That's right. A platform game that doesn't let you jump any time you want to. How dumb is that?! I'm reluctant to start the game since it was so hard to finish the tutorial. I see that this is episode 1. Now I'm glad there wasn't an episode 2. I think the world has suffered enough with episode 1.
