Yoshi's Island DS

While trying to take my mind off of wanting Yoshi's New Island for 3DS, I thought I'd pop in Yoshi's Island DS. The last time I played it was about 6 years ago and I remember I had to quit at a castle because it was so hard. It turns out I had abandoned the game at level 4-4. And yes it was hard. Took me a total of who knows how many lives to beat. I was perplexed on how to beat the first part for the longest time. I kept going around in circles. As it turns out, only part of that part actually needs to be there to finish. The rest of it is unnecessary and only there to put flowers and red coins. Then came the real test. The ending. I thought I was done when I hit the correct face three times, but no, I needed to do it a fourth time. Luckilly, no lives were lost during that part, but I was down to about 10 or so stars because the faces kept spitting enemies directly at me. It took about one hour. ONE freaking hour to beat one level? Maybe I should pass on all future Nintendo platforming games in general. Then after that came an animation about how Bowser spited Baby Bowser. and so apparently the Yoshis team up with Baby Bowser. I looked in the instruction manual and sure enough, the last character listed is Baby Bowser, which I find odd because I haven't found Baby Wario yet. Maybe part of Nintendo's losses is that they're making games so hard nobody will buy them any more. I don't know how to play a Zelda game, but I imagine if I'm having this much trouble with only Yoshi's Island DS, how much harder Zelda would be. I was collecting DS games, so I have about 180 of them, which includes the 2 DS Zelda games, which are still sealed. One box is A-M and the other is N-Z but I think I need to get a third box if I want to have 200. I don't know, I just thought at the time that the DS was really a cool idea, and am still sad, but all video game consoles have to be discontinued at some point. I'm still busy making GoSub DS for the DS, even though I still don't have a flash card to play it on. I need a credit card to be able to pay for it (I don't have one), since the asshats at Nintendo decided to go after PayPal for selling them. I wonder if now that the DS is discontinued they'll stop going after DS flash-card sellers. And yes, my DS I got near the launch still works and has no flip screen issues at all. Although it does have some paint missing from the d-pad. Must have been all those times I played Mario Kart DS.
