I played Mario's Tennis for a half-hour. I suck at it. In fact, I suck at just about every Virtual Boy game ever made. Which made me think: Why can't someone make an easy game? I can't be the only 31-year-old male that sucks at video games, can I? Galactic Pinball has stupidly high scores that are so unattainable I will never save MY highest score. And now Mario's Tennis made me angry. So I want to make a game for me that I will find enjoyable. And that I can actually beat. So I've made the decision to include an EASY mode that is actually easy and not claiming to be easy but is actually impossible, like just about every video game ever made has done. The next step in Insecticide is to create an Options menu that you can set the difficulty and other stuff. What is weird is that I don't play fighting games. I would imagine that they play just about the same as Mario's Tennis, though only instead of hitting a ball, you're hitting each other. And if Mario's Tennis can't have an easy mode that isn't impossible, and if I want to actually play my game and actually beat it after spending literally years making it (and I'm still nowhere near finished) then by golly, I should be able to. It's my game. And if you are normal, then choose Hard. I don't know what is wrong. I can't seem to make 3-D images work on my Virtual Boy. Yeah, I think it's working right, but my eyes are at fault. My eyes don't seem to work properly enough. I never could do those stupid Magic Eye puzzles. The point of all this is: I wish I didn't suck at video games.
