Well, I finally tried the game out after having it for a few weeks now. You start out with a few spelling games where the system tells you words to spell (by saying them) and you spell them in various ways, depending on the randomly chosen minigame. After that, then you can race. I tried an oceanfront track twice, first time I got fourth and the second time I won, although I didn't really win anything because I was playing as a guest like I always do. I had a feeling that was how they were going to incorporate learning into a racing game, by doing spelling minigames pre and post race. There is a fair amount of speech, like the announcer man saying just about everything on screen in an enthusiastic voice "Options!" Anyway, I still love my Didj and am still wanting a complete collection, though am a little embarrassed about ordering the Hannah Montana game (pre psycho-bong-smoking Miley Cyrus). So I think I'll get that one in a lot that contains it. I have more than half of the 15 titles that were made for it and I hope I will be able to some day make a GTA-style game for it, or at least ANYTHING homebrew for it. Oh, and they say it's going to snow 5-8 inches tomorrow here in Oregon. I highly doubt it, and if it actually does snow and stick, I doubt we'll get 5 inches. That's a lot. Oh well, we'll see...
