Wii-U and me.
So I played my Wii-U. I was getting dangerously close to game over on Super Mario 3D World. Then I remembered about something I read on here about getting a ton of lives really easily. So I went back to world 1-2 and found the perfect place to do it. It took a couple of tries (the game apparently really doesn't want you to do this. I tried once and instead of the koopa troopa shell bouncing back and forth really fast it went inside the pipe and disappeared.) but I did it. So now I have 200 lives. I was all ready to enter level 4, but before I was able to, I had to beat level 3-B which is AFTER the level 3 castle. And it was hard, but I did it after a few tries. I couldn't quite get the hang of the place in level 3 with the switch blocks and I kept falling to my doom. I had to beat it with a super suit thingy. I thought it would just make the computer automatically beat it for you, but no. I'm a little anxious due to me finding this out because I have troubles whenever I'm on platforms and can fall to my death quite easily. So now I have 6 Wii-U games. I wondered whether you can save progress on an SD-card instead of the internal memory, so I went to Nintendo's website and found out that the highest SD card it takes is 2 GB. Huh? Most SD cards are now 4 GB and up. Plus, it said to format it first, which led to a link to some stupid software to download that lets you format it. Do I really need to do this, because the Harmony cart SD card I use didn't need to be formatted. At least I didn't need to before I used it the first time. I'm worried about the Wii-U's performance, reading all the stuff on here. Judging from the quotes, it looks like I'll have to get the next-gen system that Nintendo publishes on, whether it be the X-Box 2 (?) or PS5. I just hope the Wii-U is still surviving until May 30, when Mario Kart 8 comes out. That would give me a real excuse to play this thing. I also want Puyo Puyo Tetris. Am I the only person that frowns on eShop? All these great games I want to try but I can't buy them in stores. Makes me want to vomit profusely. I'm worried that game downloading on my Wii-U will deplete the internal memory severely so that I wouldn't be able to save my progress on new games I would buy in stores after I downloaded a lot of games from the eShop. (Or whatever the Wii-U download games thing is called.) I have a basic model so not a deluxe one, and therefore I don't have as much space. Yep, I bought mine at launch day.
