Inspired by Xuel's blog entry, I decided to try to do anything with this. First, hunting down TurboBasic was a chore since AtariMania didn't have it. After finding it, I put it in my Atari 800 emulator I downloaded. It's called Atari800Win PLus 4.0. I got as far as this:

That's my first program. All it does is clear the screen and displays "THIS SUCKS" on it.

I have too many questions. First off, can I save my program for use as an Atari 8-bit Disk Image? If so, how? Can I use Notepad instead and then put the contents of a txt file to make a program out of it so I can run it on Atari800Win PLus?

Some day, I want to make a game like Xuel's "Jump!" only using 10 lines of code. I also want to know how to make it so PRINT starts on a different y or x line, as PRINT 2,2,"HI." didn't really do anything. I actually have an 800XL out in the garage. Do I need a copy of TurboBasic to run "Jump!" on it? Does a flashcart or something exist for Atari 800? I googled stuff and the vast majority of links are dead. It's a wonder how I got even this far!

Simple question... you've created stuff on various systems and you're on a site that has all the resources you need regarding Atari computers and decide to google storage options? Just go to the Atari 8-bit section for your answers. The very first post in the section has your answers regarding emulators and storage devices.
