Double Trouble
I guess headaches do cause you to not think well. Yesterday I was wondering why I couldn't make the second bomb drop in unison with the first one. Well, I figured it out. I don't know how to explain it because I don't know how I solved it. I think it had something to do with the order I put the events changing code (2, 50, 100 point events). I got a Mario's Tennis copy for $5 at my local game store. I'm going to have it turned into another game. He asked if I had a Virtual Boy, I said yeah, and he replied "those things are tight." I guess that means he likes them. I wonder if he's ever played one before. I don't know what game I should put on it though. In case you're wondering, I have even two more Mario's Tennis I'm reserving in case I ever get around to finishing Insecticide. And a box came while I was gone. Inside was a Dreamcast game. Played Moon Patrol. I guess the graphics are better on the 5200 version than the 2600 version, which leaves me to wonder why Atari decided to bring back the 2600 in the NES era. Sure the 2600 games they made then were good, but the 2600 was '70s technology and it was almost 1990. Sometimes I wonder why Philips didn't care about the Odyssey 2 here in the States. I don't know why, I was a baby when the last games came out for it. It truly is a great machine. It's hard to code for, but not as hard as 2600 assembly, which I know is a lot harder. All I could do with 2600 ASM is put a rainbow on the screen. With Odyssey 2 ASM, though, I can create just about anything I want to within its limits. Well, except stuff like Puzzle Piece Panic, of course.
