EricBall 182 Posted June 3, 2014 So given your average monthly spend, how many more months is that? Quote Share this comment Link to comment
SpiceWare 6,614 Posted June 3, 2014 My current average savings is $122, so 8.2 months. That average has been increasing over time because some the series I was buying have come to an end and I've replaced them with OTA and Amazon Prime content. Due to that I expect the payoff to be between 7 and 8 months from now (December/January). Amazon Prime picking up the HBO shows has also helped a lot as I decided to not buy shows I was going to, like True Blood, and just wait for them to show up - currently the first 3 seasons are available on AP. If I hadn't bought the Drobo I'd have paid off the setup in Feburary, though I'm glad I did as I've found that I really like being able to record (a number of) older series then wait for episode 1 to show up before I start to watch the show.
