Alien Greed 5?

So I was looking at my Alien Greed collection. All four games. It dawned on me that there needs to be a fifth game in the series. After fiddling around trying to make Pac-Man in bB, I gave up. So I'll try a simple game. Kaboom! seems to have simple graphics. So I went for that. Unfortunately, it isn't going to be paddles, just a normal joystick, with the way the kernels work. I wasn't able to fully duplicate it, but I came pretty darn close. I swapped out the plates for the alien and the bombs are now Atari 2600 carts. This is as far as I've got so far. Let me know if you'd be interested in a fifth installment of Alien Greed. I wonder if I hurried that I could finish this in time for the holidays.

Are you going to try RevEngs multi kernel framework? That would allow you to have different graphic modes for each mini game :)

Well, all I would need at most is 8k, so I guess I won't bother. Apparently the lowest size to do this is 32k, and I don't want to do this. Also, I would like someone to release it so I'll be sticking to the normal kernels.

I think it is time to leave Alien Greed be. It was originally a satire game about Atari Charles and the collecting community in general but it has become a self fulfilling prophecy.

Yeah, I suppose the main purpose was a statement about needing to collect every single variation out there, but I've found that whenever I start a new one, I actually have fun programming it, one of the few times I ever have fun programming something. At first every program I start is fun, but then becomes tedious to try to make my ideas work. But seeing our little alien guy in his ever-enduring quest of trying to get more carts somehow brings a smile to my face.
