PSP'ing again

So I went to GameStar South. I got two PSP games. Pinball Hall of Fame and Taito Legends Power Up. They were apparently on sale. They didn't have any sale signs anywhere except on the door about next gen trade-ins. If they're having a sale, they should say so. All came good with box and manual. Black versions on both. Now I just have to get the stickers off. (sigh.) I tested them out and they work great. I know it's probably too much to pay even if they were on sale, but I paid $25 for the pair. Not exactly a huge sale, now is it? I do have a question. When you're in the PSP main menu, can you change game discs? I tried to and it made a little fuss about it, it was trying to read a disc that wasn't in there. I don't want to harm my PSP, so I am just wondering if it's OK to do. I never got a PSP manual, I bought it used. But I am digging it for the two years I've had it so far. Perhaps I should buy a Vita. Then I could have a 3DS and a Vita. But I doubt I will. There's just a good selection of games for the PSP that I doubt I will ever try a Vita out for another 10 years or so. I'd also like to hear your favorite PSP games and how much to pay for a typical used PSP game. Methinks I overpaid for these two.

I doubt I will. I doubt you can erase a PSP disc and make it into some other game. Even if you could, it would still have the old game's name on the front of the game disc. UMD is very homebrew-unfriendly.

All homebrew just use the memory stick. You can sign your game so it can run on not jailbroken PSP's too :)

It means you can run unsigned code such as emulators and home brew games. If you have a PSP 3000, you have to reload the custom firmware on every start up, but not a big deal.
