EricBall 182 Posted August 28, 2014 Where are you located? In the Toronto area there are quite a few AM stations - mostly talk stuff (my favorite is the comedy station in Hamilton), but some oldies & non-English. You might be able to pick up a http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clear-channel_station , particularly at night. (I was down in Ohio earlier this month and the WLW antenna is impressive.) Omega-TI 14,571 Posted August 31, 2014 Back when I was a kid I used to do a lot of BCB-DXing... even in this day and age there are still people who listen in and try to get distant stations at night. http://www.am-dx.com/ Heck, they even have 'software defined' radios controlled by PC's that can receive and record the ENTIRE BAND at the the same time for later listening. I live at Les Escoumins, Quebec, Canada. Where I live, there are no more AM stations. At night, I can listen far away stations. One of them are from New York City. Sometimes, few stations broadcast in spanish can be heard but not always, Quote Share this comment Link to comment
