Skyrim: Duplicating Items

I'm replaying Skyrim and I forgot how to duplicate items. I looked at a few videos and web pages, but none of them seemed to do what I was doing before. I know I got this info from some video or page online, but I might have adapted it. The good news is that my memory got refreshed. Here is my favorite way to duplicate items in case I forget again:

1. Walk or fast travel to Whiterun Stables. I always fast travel so I'll be at the spot that I'll be in again later when fast traveling.

2. Drop the items that you want to duplicate. They have to be dropped individually, not dropped in clumps.

3. Have your follower pick up the items (I need you to do something).

4. Fast travel to Whiterun Stables.

5. Fast travel to Whiterun.

6. Fast travel to Whiterun Stables.

7. Pick up the copied items.

8. Get the items that your follower is holding.

You can keep repeating these steps and get a bunch of copied items.
