#337 - Stargunner
So I got Atari 2600 game #337 in the mail yesterday. It was Stargunner. The title screen was kind of staticy but once I played the game it quit. Then I got a game over, the game went back to the staticy title screen thing again. Anyway, the game is a lot like Defender. People seem to diss it because it is like Defender, but in my opinion, it is BETTER than Defender. The 335 other Atari 2600 games are in the garage. #336 (Stay Frosty 2) and #337 are sitting in my room. I paid a bit for it since it is an R7, but I am happy with it. Also, I got in the mood to work on Insecticide. When I left off, I was trying to make sound effects in it. As it turns out I needed to remove the bass part of the theme songs and alter some other code someone else made. Now I have three channels, one for the music, one for your sfx, and one for the opponent's sfx. I was trying to figure out how to stick the SNES AC cord into the Virtual Boy's power slot. It turns out I needed the other power pack. I found it and plugged the SNES AC cord into it. I also stopped at Target to get Cherry 7-up. I tried Burger King, but they had Strawberry Sprite. I hate Sprite. 7-Up is way better. Says the guy who collects 7-up bottles and memorabilia. I also collect jack-o-lanterns. I just got one as a Christmas present. I like Halloween more than Christmas because not only can I add to my jack-o-lantern collection easier, it is warmer outside.
