Odyssey 2 work

For the first time in a long time, I did some Odyssey 2 programming. I worked on Chief Chef. This is what I'm currently working on. I made version 7 with a few scoring changes. I made it so each item caught is 1 point and a 6 point bonus for completing a set so every complete set is worth 10 points. Much different than the 1 point per set scoring I've been having on that game. Chief Chef is looking better each time I had worked on it. Now that I've got the graphics set up, I can work more on stuff like scoring and moving and stuff (hopefully without breaking the game!) And that meant hooking up my Odyssey 2. I was a little hesitant to since I had my PSX hooked up and I'm waiting for some PSX games in the mail. But they didn't come, but I hooked up the O2 anyway. I wonder why it is I like obscure, underdog systems? I guess it's that since they had to try harder to be noticed, they did more and more original and fun ideas for games. (Well, Tiger didn't. They just snapped up already existing licenses and made games out of them!) Well, this is the late '70's, early '80s we're talking about, yet there could have been more games based on TV and movies. ("Fraggle Rock," anyone?) But Magnavox/Philips stuck with the Odyssey 2 (Magnavox reluctantly) until 1982 or so. So that's 4 great years of Odyssey 2 games. And I, along with others, are making even more games for the Odyssey 2 today. I'm hot. I need to go turn the furnace down or something.
