My stupid computer

Suddenly, my computer was acting real slow. So I decided to turn it off. When I turned it back on, it didn't do anything. So I ran Windows Repair. It couldn't find the problem. So I figured I will have to get a new computer. I turned it on again. This time Windows Repair was scanning the whole disk, and it said it would take an hour. But it only took ten or so minutes and it said it completed its repair. After starting the computer up a third time, it took a little bit for Windows to come on, but it did and I'm sitting here typing this. I think I'm going to get a new computer, though. This is stupid. Should I get a PC with Windows 8 and fix it so it runs under Windows 7, or should I dumb the Windows nonsense and get a Mac? I know I looked for replies on this before, but I think it's more urgent seeing as how this happened.

It'll be the HDD causing that. Or a malfunctioning cooling system on the CPU.

Mac or PC? Your call.
