What the doctor ordered

Working on "Dr. Flin and his Pills" again. I think I'll shorten the title to "Dr. Flin's Pills." I made a few changes and still kept it under 2k. I found some code that I was using was wasteful, so I made it shorter. It won't tell me how many bytes are left. I get that problem sometimes when I use vblank. Anyway, what I did was if a pill is in the correct hole, I made it so that if you hit the sides of the hole, you won't get penalized for it. Instead, the pill will bounce off the sides. I'm also experimenting with making the speed faster on it once a certain point value has been reached. Right now it's ten, but I can make it anything between 1-255. The ten is just for testing purposes and probably won't be in the final game. I have been trying to make a 2600 2k game that doesn't use a timer. I wanted Explosive Diarrhea to not have a timer, but then the game would have no ending. I guess I could have made a hit counter instead of a timer, like I had done in "My Stomach Hurts," but, it's too late now! Or perhaps I could make a sequel to Explosive Diarrhea called "I Need More Pepto-Bismol." I guess the Pepto-Bismol makers would go after me. Speaking of which, it reminds me of a pill that my grandma used to give me if I had a stomach ache. It was chewable. and small, and white. I can't think of the name of it. Anyone know what I'm talking about? Anyway, if you put Dr. Flin's Pills in b&w mode, it turns to black and white. with three shades of gray. I couldn't make a fourth one and still have it be distinguishable, so the green pill in b&w mode flashes through a cycle of gray colors. I think this 2k game should be released. It is a nice game I think. I e-mailed Packrat Games, the guy who released Explosive Diarrhea for me, and he has yet to play it. I guess it gets busy when you run your own business. I guess that's why they call it a busi-ness. Because it's busyness.
