Game Gear collection

So I just got Prince of Persia in the mail today. I thought it would be cool to update my .txt file of my Game Gear collection to an .html file. And then number them all. So I figured out how to do that with the <ol> tag. In my old text file, I had a running total of the number of games in it since I didn't want to have to renumber all of them once a new game came. Prince of Persia is a weakling. I made him jump down from a tall ledge and he died on impact. Um, why don't I get lives? It just displayed game over. Stupid. And also, it runs in SMS mode. There are only 15 games that do this. I have another one. It is annoying. If you were going to release a Game Gear game, the least you could have done was to make it special for the Game Gear instead of a direct port and not cheat like that. So anyway, after I converted the list to html, I decided to post it on the internet. You can find it here: http://www.atari2600land.com/gamegearcollection.html
Are there any games I don't have that I should get? I know I'll never get Mega Man since it seems to be at least $100. You'd think with all the copies on eBay that it isn't really that rare any more.

Your statement about having a flash cart and wanting to collect games is silly. You can just test for yourself what you like. Why do you have a flashcart?

Since you have a flash cart can't you just play the games you are missing and make a determination as to what you consider good or bad? Then purchase what you find to be good?

I have a flash cart to test the games I program for the Game Gear. And if someone can find a good ROM site with no dumb pop-ups or misleading download ads, please tell me it.

1. google search "game gear romset"

2. choose an option and download the ONE zip file. you'll have to deal with ads & links. boo hoo.

3. extract the file to get the collection of zip files contained within

4. extract the *.gg files from those zip files onto your SD card.

5. repeat steps 1-4 using "sega master system romset", since the game gear plays it too.

6. use a program called DriveSort to sort the contents of the SD card. the Everdrives (and Harmony carts) do some wonky shit when you're filling the SD card and some stuff gets put out of sequence.

my Everdrive GG came in a week or so ago and i already have both collections on my sd card. it's now essentially two systems in one.

my root directory looks like this:

---

0

gg (A-L)

gg (M-Z)

sms (A-F)

sms (G-L)

sms (M-R)

sms (S-Z)

---

my "0" folder has my five favorite GG and five favorite SMS titles, listed as 10 items on one screen.
