A musical ant
One of my things I hate the most is having ants in the house. One of the joys in my life is composing music. So I figured "Why not combine the two and make music about an ant?" So yesterday, inspired by the CD I bought from Germany which is one 42-minute long track, I have decided to compose a musical about an ant. I'm 13 minutes into it which is fast because I just started work on it yesterday. I'm at the point in the musical now where the ant has just entered my bathroom. Which is fitting because they like to do that. I put an ant trap on the counter yesterday. No ants were found near it. Instead they go walk around on the floor where I can't put an ant trap because the cat and dog would get into it. Anyway, I decided to fast forward a little bit and I composed the music right after I flush the ant down the toilet. It's called "A ride in the sewers." It's not very long (about 30 seconds), and I made a MIDI of it. I am planning to put it at the end of part 6. I just finished part 4, which is where the ant enters my bathroom. Part 5, which I haven't composed yet, is the ant frolicking around in the bathroom. I come in in part 6 and say a soliloquy before I flush the ant down the toilet. So about my MIDI. I made it a MIDI because it's really fast and there's no possible way I could play it as fast as I want it to be. I woke up later than normal because we pushed the clocks ahead an hour. Mom just texted me and said she found some VHS tapes at the store. I told her to get six. Two for $11? That seems a bit insane, don't you think? Anyway, it's for the ActionMax game I was working on in case I ever get it finished. I am going to have a special edition limited run of it on VHS and have the rest be on a DVD. I want at least ten for the limited run, so I need to get four more. It's raining right now and we're supposed to get a wind storm later today with gusts of up to 40-50 mph. Anyway, I would like to reach the twenty minute mark on "The Life of an Ant" at the end of part 6.
