.38 Ambush Alley
So my copy of .38 Ambush Alley has a big hole cut off in the corner. I looked on eBay. I didn't want a sealed copy. Those ran ridiculously high. Not to mention the system itself, which a boxed system runs for $40, more if you add shipping. The thing is probably not worth that much, but I guess it is as a curio. And I was thinking: .38 Ambush Alley is probably the only video game title to begin with a decimal point. And HydroSub: 2021, that's only five years from now! I bet it sounded much more futuristic back in 1987, though, like a video game like HydroSub: 2041 would sound to us now. But the scary part is I feel old, yet I still feel like a kid. What's worse, I don't remember much from when I actually WAS a kid. I would like to delay Nightmare Nemesis to 2017 for a 30th anniversary game, but I don't know how much longer my computer can last. Therefore, I would like to have the game ready by this summer. Which would mean I would have to resume work on it. But back to .38 Ambush Alley. I found a copy on eBay that's open, for less than $10. So I bought it. I probably overpaid, but I really would like to have a copy with all its corners intact, and that was the only semi-reasonably-priced copy. I went to the post office and mailed out the Captain Bruce copies. A couple had copies of Bubba's Buck Blastin' in them.
