I've decided that since Slave obviously is never going to be released, and I want a new homebrew Dreamcast game, that I should begin dabbling in Dreamcast programming. Computers have come a long way since I tried PS1 programming, and so having a Dreamcast emulator would be no big deal for a 900 GB hard drive, along with all the proper tools for making a Dreamcast game. I tried to make a PS1 game, but it was on my computer that died, so I'm never going to work on it again, partly because it had no sound. I couldn't get the sound to work. I am hopeful that one day I plan to make a Dreamcast game. I will start with something small: a Dreamcast version of Bananas Are Good, a game that I made for the Game Gear and Intellivision. So I need to find a way to find the things to download and start work on this. I shall ask around, now I remember a site I joined a long time ago. I don't remember the name of the site or the URL. I just know it had the words "Dreamcast" and "Scene" in them. Google is going to get a workout. And hopefully this will go better than the ill-fated Jaguar attempt. I wonder if I can get sound to work on the Dreamcast. It should be really different than the PS1, right?
